  • How long will delivery take to deliver my gift box?
    We endeavor to ship your package quickly, however depending on your location different delivery times apply. Our standard packing times are 1-2 working days. Our standard delivery times are: - Rotorua (within city limits): Next day - North Island (non rural): 1 working day (Overnight service - Monday - Thursday only)*. - North Island (rural): 1-2 working days* - South Island (non rural): 2-3 working days* - South Island (rural): 3-4 working days* Please note that couriers only work standard business hours (Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm) and normal deliveries are not made on the weekend. Urgent couriers are sent same day, if ordered before 2pm, and are delivered within 1 working day** Please contact us on kiaora@thekohacollective.co.nz if you require urgent delivery and we can arrange this for you. Due to peak holiday times overnight delivery may not always be available, however we'll try our best to meet your needs. We recommend placing your order as soon as possible to avoid any delays. *Due to circumstances outside of our control and possible delivery delays, we cannot guarantee delivery times. We use reputable courier companies to try to ensure delivery is within the above timeframes, where possible. **Urgent couriers are an additional cost.
  • Can I track my delivery?
    Āe, once the courier collects your gift box, an automatic email with your tracking number will be provided to the email address supplied. If for some reason you do not receive your tracking details, please get in touch by emailing kiaora@thekohacollective.co.nz
  • Can I arrange urgent delivery?
    Āe, urgent shipping can be added to your order, please contact us at kiaora@thekohacollective.co.nz to discuss your needs.   • Do you offer overseas shipping?
    We currently only offer shipping within Aotearoa, New Zealand however we will be adding shipping to Australia in the near future and globally at a later date. We would love to hear from you if this is something you would like us to add as soon as possible, email us at kiaora@thekohacollective.co.nz and we'll see what we can do.
  • My gift box hasn't arrived, what should I do?
    We recommend checking your tracking email to see if your gift box is still making its way to you. If your gift box hasn’t arrived by the expected delivery date, please get in touch via the email below so we can follow this up for you. Whakapa māi - contact us: kiaora@thekohacollective.co.nz
  • What if my gift box arrives damaged?
    Please get in contact with us at kiaora@thekohacollective.co.nz as soon as possible if your order has arrived damaged - we will do everything we can to resolve the situation. We are unable to offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
  • Where does The Koha Collective source their products from?
    We are passionate about sourcing quality, authentically Māori made products that showcase the many talents and incredible businesses found locally and across Aotearoa. The Koha Collective is a māori owned and operated business and all products featured in our gift boxes are māori owned and operated.
  • Can I swap or add a product to one of the gift boxes available?
    Our gift boxes are carefully curated so that each product compliments the other. If you would like to send something more personalised, or are after something specific, we'd be more than happy to have a kōrero to discuss your options so we can help you create that perfect gifting experience. Please note we only stock māori businesses and their products, we are unfortunately unable to add any products that are outside of this kaupapa.
  • Do your gift boxes come with a gift cards?
    Āe, all our gift boxes come with a complimentary handwritten gift card on our personalised stationery. Please leave your personalised message in the message box provided when ordering and we'll be sure to add this. We have a select range of gift boxes that include premium gift cards in their price, as our gift to you. All gift boxes that include a premium gift card are noted in the product information. We also have a range of additional gift cards you can add to your gift box in our online store, if you would prefer this option, these gift cards are from the very talented Maimoa Creative.* *Maimoa Creative Gift cards are an additional cost and can be added to your order, with your special hand written message, at check out.
  • How is your packaging sustainable?
    At The Koha Collective it is important for us to provide guardianship (Kaitiakitanga) of the whenua (land) and our environment for our future generations by utilising and sourcing responsible, sustainable and recyclable or reusable products, where possible, and to ensure our role and our suppliers roles align with our kaupapa. - Our Tissue paper is printed with soy based inks on 100% home compostable, acid free, tissue paper, which is also made from recyclable materials. - Our personalised cards are printed with water-based inks and are made from recycled materials which can be disposed of in your home recycling. - Our gift boxes come with hamper wood, or shredded tissue paper if shipped overseas, which can be reused or disposed of in your home compost or māra (garden). - Our premium gift boxes, shipping cartons and ribbon are reusable. We have made this commitment, through our pakihi and in our daily lives, to ensure we are doing our best to give love to mother earth - te aroha ki a Papatūānuku.   • How will my gift box be packaged?
    Every gift box is carefully packed with aroha (love) by The Koha Collective whānau. All gift boxes come with: The Koha Collective premium magnetic latch gift box The Koha Collective custom tissue paper and ribbon The Koha Collective gift card with hand-written message The Koha Collective ngā mihi and karakia card All gift boxes are packaged inside our premium magnetic latch heavy duty gift boxes with hamper wood and tissue paper to ensure your gift is protected. We then place the entire box within a courier box for extra protection so it reaches your recipient as it was when it left our hands. All our packaging products are either reusable, recyclable or home compostable to ensure we are playing our part for a sustainable future for our tamariki. We have made this commitment, through our pakihi and in our daily lives, to ensure we are doing our best to give love to mother earth - te aroha ki a Papatūānuku.   • Pricing
    All prices are shown in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST (15% sales tax). All prices are correct at the time of publication, however, we reserve the right to alter prices at any time.
  • Pre order Gift Boxes
    We may offer pre-orders on select gift boxes from time to time. Pre-orders are items that are currently not in stock however are in the process of being stocked. All order and delivery timeframes are communicated on our website and once your order is confirmed. Delivery timeframes may vary depending on factors, however, we will do our best to get your gift boxes to you in a timely manner. If you have any pātai in regards to your pre ordered gift box please email us on kiaora@thekohacollective.co.nz and we'll get back to you as soon as possible with any updates.
  • Returns and Refund Policy
    At The Koha Collective we always aim to provide you with quality products and services, however, if you have purchased an item from us and believe it to be faulty, we will do our best to resolve this. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item by emailing kiaora@thekohacollective.co.nz. We must be contacted within 7 days of receiving your item. Items must be returned and received by us within 14 days. Returned items must be in a new, unused condition and returned in the same condition which you received them, with original packaging, tags and packaged appropriately. We may ask you to provide of photo of the faulty item as well as provide proof of purchase. If the item purchased is faulty we will replace it with the same item, where available, or alternatively exchange for something similar in style that you may prefer. If none of these options suit, we will issue a refund. Return shipping costs are at the cost of the purchaser and remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by The Koha Collective. Initial shipping fees will not be refunded unless the item is faulty. If the item is deemed faulty, postage will be refunded, with proof of purchase of mailing costs provided. All returns must be sent via track and trace, we are not liable for returns lost in transit. We will either exchange, replace or refund the full or partial purchase price, at our discretion. We are unable to offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
  • What if my gift box arrives damaged?
    Please get in contact with us at kiaora@thekohacollective.co.nz as soon as possible if your order has arrived damaged - we will do everything we can to resolve the situation. We are unable to offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
  • Does The Koha Collective offer a service for corporate orders?
    Āe, our corporate clients place regular orders for special events, client or team gifts. We would love to help you create the perfect gifting experience that is not only beautiful but professional, efficient and reliable. Let us do the mahi for you, so you can relax knowing we have your colleagues, team or client needs covered. Please note all corporate orders require a minimum order period of up to four to six weeks from order to delivery date* *Minimum order times may vary depending on busy holiday periods like Kirihimete (Christmas) and Matariki (Māori New Year).
  • Can I be sent an invoice?
    Āe, leave a note in the comment section at the checkout, or contact us at kiaora@thekohacollective.co.nz with your order details and we will issue an invoice as soon as possible.
